A: The QuickTime plugin is required to view the Virtual Tour. Click here to test your browser for QuickTime compatibility. If you need help installing QuickTime, read the installation instructions for Windows users.

Q: Why does the Virtual Tour take a while to load when using a modem? [back to top] [close window]

A: The Tour uses QuickTime format for the panoramic images as well as the maps. You may experience delays when using a modem, however, you are welcome to navigate the Tour without waiting for each space to load.


Q: How was the Virtual Tour created? [back to top] [close window]

A: The Virtual Tour was created by taking a series of digital images at each point on the map, then "stitching" those photos together to form the panoramic images you see. The images were then linked together on the map to form the Tour. QuickTime Pro, VR Toolbox, MapsaVR, NodesVR, and Adobe Photoshop were used to create the images.

A: Visit our Browser Check page to see if your browser is compatible. You may need to install QuickTime. Instructions are available from that page.

Q: Why aren't all spaces included in the Tour? [back to top] [close window]

A: We have chosen a wide selection of spaces in the building to include in the Tour. Some spaces have been left out on purpose, while a small few have been left out due to time constraints. If you want to see something added, please send a note to our webmaster.

A: The Virtual Tour was created by the ULC Marketing & Design Department. Ben Lewis and Chris Zhou were responsible for creating the Tour.
