The University Life Centers Staff Opportunities Team is established to:
- Plan, recommend, and implement programs and activities for all full-time and part-time ULC employees that are concentrated on community building.
- Develop, plan, recommend, and implement recognition and appreciation programs for all full-time and part-time ULC employees.
Responsibilities
The Team is responsible for:
- Planning and offering community building activities and recognition and appreciation programs.
- Initially, in the first year, prepare a proposal for the establishment of recognition and appreciation programs including projected cost estimates.
- Setting an annual calendar of activities.
- Continually surveying ULC staff regarding the types of social activities they would like to have offered and assess/evaluate the outcome of the programs offered.
- Providing communication of program activities through the ULC newsletter and other formats.
- Providing an itemized budget proposal annually (January) to the Human Resources Department to be included in the Human Resources Budget and presented to the ULC Leadership Team for consideration and approval in the overall ULC budget.
