Late Night at Iowa Grant Program
Students have great ideas, but are often hindered by small budgets and few resources. The University of Iowa has now provided a way for students to plan new and exciting weekend programs, and get help paying for it. Through Late Night at Iowa, a grant program for non-alcoholic late night programs on Fridays and Saturdays funded through The Office of the Provost and The Office of the Vice President for Student Services, students can complete an event proposal and apply for funding out of a $50,000 pot.
If you think this is a difficult process for students to navigate, though, you’d be wrong. An allocation committee will meet periodically to review applications and distribute the funds, all students need to do is access the application and complete it. The criteria include: non-alcoholic events, start time no earlier than 10:30pm, and end time no earlier than 1:00am. Students can access the criteria and applications in the Office of Student Life (145 IMU) or download the PDF found at the bottom of this page.
