Hate studying at crowded coffee shops and noisy ITCs, but don't know where to go? Think IMU. Our central location on campus makes it easy to study between classes, at night, and on the weekends. We offer students 3 floors of quiet and group study space, as well as an ITC and free laptop checkout! Our hours have also extended on Friday and Saturday from 7am-1am.

Starbucks coffee stand & Union Market open until 11pm

UI Trans Week

The University of Iowa's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allied Union (GLTBAU) are proud to present the first annual UI Trans Week November 16th-20th. This week of educational workshops, film screenings, discussions, and celebration will end with a candlelight vigil on the Pentacrest and a celebration for trans-identified people, allies, and interested folk on November 20th. Holiday Thieves Market

Each year hundreds of artists from all over the Midwest and beyond compete to exhibit and sell their work at our nationally renowned Holiday Thieves' Art Market, an art show and sale. Artists at this show will exhibit and sell their original work in painting, ceramics, photography, woodworking, drawing, jewelry, fiber, metal, needlework, and much more. Admission to the show is free to the public in the Main Lounge, IMU.
