The Student Organization Business Service Office provides financial assistance to all recognized student organizations, the University of Iowa Student Government (UISG),
and UISG commissions and committees.

Services Include:
- The main interface through which all financial paperwork for organizations must be approved.
- Continual assistance to organizations in the interpretation of university financial policies and regulations.
- Assistance in the financial planning and execution of programs and follow-up to make sure all expenses for events have been reported and reconciled.
- Monthly University reports.
- Detailed financial statements for UISG and the commission organizations.
- Annual formal financial training for all student organizations.

Tips for visiting the Student Organization Business Service Office:
- Know your organization's account number.
- Know if you're spending UISG or "00" monies.
- Know who your group's authorized signature people are.
- Know where you're planning to make your purchase so you receive the right form.
- PLAN AHEAD. Please don't wait until the last minute to come in. We don't write checks; all paperwork flows through the University system/process.
