Services for Students

The Office of Student Life provides a range of services for students and student organizations.

• Instructional Technology Centers (ITCs)

  Located on the ground and first floors, both ITCs include Mac and Windows desktops, printing capabilities, scanners and e-mail stations.

• Organization Business Services

  The Student Organization Business Service Office provides financial assistance to all recognized student organizations, the University of Iowa Student Government (UISG), and UISG commissions and committees.

• Poster Sales

  Held each semester in the IMU, posters with themes ranging from art and pop culture to inspiration and athletics are available for purchase.

• Student Activities Center (SAC)

  The SAC provides office space for approximately 60 student organizations on the ground floor of the IMU.

• Student Credit and Money Management Services

  Educates students about the wise use of credit and provides direct assistance on credit and money management issues.

• Student Legal Services (SLS)

  Represents and provides advice to approximately 1,300 students annually while promoting an awareness of student rights & responsibilities.

• Tenant Landlord Association (TLA)

  Provides information on rental agreements, eviction actions, state and local housing laws, and housing services to tenants and landlords.

• University Box Office (UBO)

  The only on-campus TicketMaster outlet, the UBO also provides personal check cashing, fax services and cashier boxes for student organizations.
