The IMU is proud to provide sponsorship to many types of student, departmental, and public events. Since we receive a greater number of requests each year, a committee receives, reviews, and approves or denies each request with the goal of supporting student organizations, departments, and other charitable groups in their efforts while maximizing IMU marketing efforts.

Policy Details
IMU departments will approve donations up to $500 directly. Requests over $500 will be reviewed by the committee for approval. Any request approved by the committee greater than $2000 will be forwarded to the IMU Director, Administration and Operations, for final approval. All donations and sponsorships will be tracked centrally to ensure no one organization is receiving major donations independently from various departments within our organization.
To be considered for sponsorship or donation each organization must submit an application online by the last Wednesday of each month to be reviewed at the next meeting. The Public Relations Committee will review the first Friday of each month and provide approval answers by the second Friday of each month.
