Student Organizations at the University of Iowa have many unique opportunities to obtain additional funding. If your student organization is hosting an event or is looking for some additional funds, make sure to read about these great funding options available to you and your organization listed below.
Late Night Funding
In order to receive Late Night at Iowa funding, your student organization's event must meet the following requirements:
- Event must be scheduled on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night beginning at 10:00 PM and ending no earlier than 1:00 AM
- Alcohol Free
- Applications should be for a new event or an already occurring event with a new component
- Application and budget must be submitted and all criteria must be met for consideration
- Applications should focus on three elements: Uniqueness, Diversity, and Collaboration

Coca Cola Support Program
In order to receive Late Night at Iowa funding, your student organization's event must meet the following requirements:
In order to receive Coca-Cola Funding, your student organization's event must meet the following requirements:
- Event must be held on campus
- Student organizations must be currently recognized by UISG at the time of the application and at the time of the event/program. Additionally, other organizations, which include, but are not limited to, university-wide collaborations and organizations, are eligible to apply (e.g. Celebrating Cultural Diversity Festival, CAB, Night Games, Family Weekend, Welcome Week, etc.)
- Product grant does not exceed 10 cases or 240 cans per event
- Grants do not exceed $1,000.00 per event
- Application and budget must be submitted and all criteria must be met for consideration

IMU Sponsorship and Donation
In order to receive Late Night at Iowa funding, your student organization's event must meet the following requirements:
In order to receive an IMU Sponsorship, please keep the following points in mind:
- To be considered an application must be submitted to IMU Event Services by the last Wednesday of each month along with a final budget for the event
- Donations under $500 are not required to provide a marketing opportunity, donations over $500 should include recognition or a marketing opportunity for the IMU.
- Donations on an annual basis will not be approved
- Student organizations are given first priority
- Retroactive donations are not honored

Student Government Funding
In order to receive Student Government funding, please keep the following points in mind.
- Requests made through SABAC (UISG) and GPAC (ECGPS)
- Fiscal Year budgeting one time per year
- Supplemental funding three to four times per year
- All requests are made through OrgSync
- Funding standards apply
