The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is home to the “Divine Nine” historically Black fraternities and sororities. Currently, there are four of the nine organizations on campus: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Additionally, these organizations are rejoining the community soon: Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) is home to our identity-based (but not exclusive!) fraternities and sororities. Currently, there are five organizations on campus: alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc.; Gamma Rho Lambda National Sorority; Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc.; Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc.; and Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. Additionally, these organizations are joining the community soon: Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity, Inc. and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
*This event is considered orientation for NPHC and MGC. Attendance is required for anyone interested in joining one of those organizations in either council.
