Our mission is to provide nutritious food and necessities for the University of Iowa students, faculty, and staff in need, and to fight food insecurity through education and advocacy.
The Food Pantry is a free service available for ANY student, staff, or faculty member at the University of Iowa.
East Pantry location (278 IMU)
Food Pantry at Iowa will have our East Pantry location open this summer on Tuesdays (4-7pm) and Wednesdays (12:30 - 4pm). To sign up for a slot on Tuesday, July 27th, please click HERE. For a time slot on Wednesday, July 28th, please click HERE.
On the date and time of shopping, bring your University ID card to Room 278 of the Iowa Memorial Union. A map is provided below.

West Pantry location (Pride Alliance Center)
After much consideration, pickup bag service has been halted for the remainder of the summer after seeing a decline in usage of this service. Moving forward, we are planning for how to best use the West Pantry space during the fall semester and will keep you updated.
