The IMU is offering alternative dining options during renovation to ensure convenient access to food service. Union Station has closed effective March 13, 2026. Permanent dining options are scheduled to return to the IMU in August 2027.

The Hawk Shop Café and Market is connected to the Iowa Hawk Shop bookstore on Ground Floor of the IMU and remains open during renovation! Find snacks, toiletries, and Starbucks here, along with expanded offerings.
Chick-fil-A at the IMU
The Chick-fil-A pop-up location on the Ground Floor of the IMU is open on select days this summer.
