We want to hear from you

Each month, the IMU (Iowa Memorial Union) poses a simple but intentional question to students—something that encourages reflection, sparks creativity, or invites feedback.

How are my answers used?

  • Responses are gathered monthly, either on physical boards or via digital forms.

  • A small team reviews them, looking for trends, standout quotes, and themes.

  • These insights are shared with IMU leadership and programming staff to help guide student-centered decisions.

  • We also use this data to support marketing and storytelling, making sure we’re amplifying student voices, not just speaking at them.

The IMU Question of the Month isn’t a survey—it’s a pulse check, a window into the student experience, and a reminder that even in a big campus space, your words and ideas matter.
