The use of Kautz Plaza as a public forum for speech, assembly, and petition is encouraged by the University. The policy governing the use of the Pentacrest shall apply to the use of that area known as Kautz Plaza with the following additions.

Water availability
Water is not available on Kautz Plaza.
Electrical hook up
110 single phase electrical outlets are available at all times for no fee near the concrete bench to the North of the archway/back entrance to the Plaza; groups will need to provide their own outdoor-rated extension cord. Groups with other power needs will need to use a generator and must make those arrangements themselves. Please indicate your electrical needs before your event date or at the time of reservation.
Vehicle access
No motor vehicles are allowed on Kautz Plaza or the T. Anne Cleary Walkway, at any time without prior approval and appropriate permit from UI Parking and Transportation.
