Bridging Our World is a five-day display featuring the flags of the countries represented by international students attending the university during the academic semester. The semester this display will across homecoming week in October, 2022. The next display across the Iowa Memorial footbridge is scheduled for finals week in May, 2023.

When on display, the flags are installed daily starting at 7:30 a.m. and taken down every evening starting at 4:00 p.m. by student and staff volunteers. The United States Flag Code was used to determine proper order and procedures for display of the flags.
